This is a unique item. Really it is. I will make more of these going forward but not just like this. That's because these are made from reclaimed wood. This bluetooth speaker and clock set up is hand made in my shop here in New Haven, Vermont from reclaimed oak and cherry from a local sawmill. I have enough of the reclaimed oak to make only three of like these so, if you want one you better order one now. If you do you'll have only one of three that exist in this world!
Classically styled, hand crafted bluetooth speakers made in Vermont
This bluetooth speaker and clock assembly are made from reclaimed wood. Made in my shop here in New Haven Vermont from reclaimed oak and cherry from a local sawmill. The oak face and back are made with reclaimed wood from and old oak bureau that was past it's prime and not worth fixing. However, the old growth oak on most of it was still very useful and beautiful. The oak being old growth timber is very stable and straight grained so it will never warp or crack. the cherry is made from what's called "outs" at the sawmill, lumber that often gets burned or chipped up into compost or pellets. Much of it. sometimes the bandsaw will get out of adjustment and cur some weird cuts and no one will notice before there's a pile of it before they shut down and fix the problem. the old is not great in long lengths because of that but you can get a lot of fine shorter pieces out of it if you're willing to work it and that's what I do. I cut away the bad and use the good for smaller crafted items like this. They looo beautiful and are very durable, a wonderful piece to show off on your desk at home or at work or anywhere a finely crafted item would usually go. The real leather handle makes it easy to transport and move around from room to t=room and the non skid feet keep it from getting pushed off the desk or mantle. It stays where you put it. It's finished with at least three coats of WATCO Danish Oil. It leaves a hard lustrous finish and if at anytime in the future the finish needs a little upgrade all you have to do is add more with a soft clean rag. Rub it in and let it sit and it's good as new again. Treat this fine crafted speaker set like any fine piece of furniture and it will last for many, many years.Now for the fine print: Requires one AA battery to operate/not included. The bluetooth control center on the back is very simple. Simply hold down the center button until the blue LED comes on while connecting to your device. I find this bluetooth speaker to be very good quality. It hooks into my iPhone instantly, better than other device I have. There are forward and back buttons either side of center and that's about it!
Comes with a USB charging cord that plugs into the control panel on the back.
