The Jon Boat in the picture to the left was left to rot under a tree for ten plus years. It was dirty and the transom pieces were rotten.
Cleaning was the first priority. That took a lot of elbow grease. It was filthy inside and out.
Then removal of the rotted tail pieces and addition of some flourishes like the transom handles with an oak base.
I took and otherwise unassuming craft and made it kinda nice.
